We help you understand the features that will bring value to your business operation.
Below you'll find information about basic and more advanced features.

Basic Features:

Auto attendant
Think of this as your automated receptionist that will route calls based on predefined options.

Conferencing features
These allow 2 or more extensions connect to share in a conversation. Usually, the default is 2. If you require more than 2, ask what the maximum number of participants is. Some systems only allow internal extensions to be conferenced. If you require external conference calls, ask about that as well.
Automated directory
This allows callers to look up an employee’s extension by entering the first few letters of their name.
Voicemail
This allows messages to be left for employees that are unavailable or on the phone. Voicemail to email is a common feature and comes with most systems as a standard.
Redial
This is used to dial recent numbers called.
Paging
This allows a user to speak over a public address system to call for an employee or give announcements.
Music on hold
This gives your callers something to listen to while they are on hold.
Call hold
This is the ability to put a call on hold while the user attends to other matters. This is usually included with the system.
Call park
Use this for a system-wide hold.
Call forwarding
This feature gives the user the ability to forward all calls to another extension, voicemail or external number.
Speed dial
This feature saves frequently used phone numbers. You can have a directory of system-wide or personal speed dial numbers.
Backup power
This feature via UPS will provide uptime during a power outage.
Advanced Features:

Remote location
This feature allows simple connections to off-site employees or small remote offices by simply dialing an internal extension.
Find me / follow me
This feature permits users to forward their phone on demand to another phone, cell phone, home phone, secretary, and more.
Computer telephone integration (CTI)
This feature allows the phone system to interact with a computer system such as Outlook integration or other software application running on a computer.
Multi-location connectivity
With Avaya, this is called an SCN (Small Community Network). This feature enables you to connect multiple locations around the country or world into one centralized phone system or voicemail system.
